Blackburn Community Learning Center
Montpelier holds a lot of history for JRM. And still now a lot of our treasured relationships are still there, along with a Learning Center. The Learning Center is for small children who can't afford the cost of food, taxi, uniforms, ect... to go to the public schools. It provides a basic education and also Godly principles into these young lives. Sophia Ellis is the teacher and she does a fine job, her heart is definatly with her people. JRM's role on Montpelier has been monthly sponsorship for some of the children, Bible Club on Friday afternoons and all around community work.
Our latest adventure has been to build the new Learning Center. The project needs to be finshed by the first of September for school to start, so pray with us that all will go smoothly. I've posted some pictures how the project is going.
